Qualified digital certificates with cryptographic keys stored in the Cloud are new to the Romanian market following the eIDAS regulation on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market. We have over 10 year experience in providing qualified digital certificates in the Cloud, being US certified since 2008.
Due to the cryptographic keys being stored in the Cloud, there is no longer a need for the client to have a device or to install special drivers on their computer. The signing process for each signature is activated using a username and password combination, known only by the client, together with a one time password received via sms/email/app.
